Packers Sign De'Vondre Campbell
4 years agoThe Green Bay Packers signed free-agent linebacker De'Vondre Campbell to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday and released running back Mike Weber in a corresponding move. A six-year veteran from the University of Minnesota, Campbell will help the team's thin inside linebacker position. A fourth-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons back in 2016, he had 99 tackles and started all 16 games last season for the Arizona Cardinals. Campbell spent the first four seasons of his NFL career in Atlanta. In 75 career games (70 starts), the 27-year-old has 462 tackles (303 solo), 13 QB hits, three interceptions, 19 passes defensed, six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 7.5 sacks.
