Ozzie Albies Unlikely To Play In NLDS
2 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies (finger) is out of his cast and is building back his hand strength. He'll be with the team for the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies this week, but it's unlikely that he'll be on the active roster. Albies is dealing with a fractured pinkie finger and remains on the 10-day injured list. The 25-year-old hasn't played for over three weeks, and the Braves will be hoping that he can be ready if they advance to the NL Championship Series next week. If Albies is unable to make the roster for the NLDS, it's likely that Orlando Arcia will continue to handle the regular second base duties for the Braves against the Phillies this week.
