Ozzie Albies' Bat Waking Up
Ozzie Albies has had a mini-resurgence at the plate lately. He went 2-for-2 with two doubles and a walk in Sunday's loss to the San Diego Padres, his first game with multiple extra-base hits this year. In the process, Albies extended his hitting to 11 games, in which he's gone 13-for-37 (.351) with four doubles. The recent hot streak has raised his average from .207 to .239 and his OPS from .587 to .650, which started after he went 0-for-28. "Hopefully Oz is getting ready to get a little something going," manager Brian Snitker said. "Man, that'd be huge if we could get him going consistently like he has over the last few years." Fantasy managers are hoping for the same thing, and the next thing they'd like to see if Albies go deep, as he hasn't homered in a 20-game span. The return of outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. should only help Albies' cause.
