Not Looking Good For Kadarius Toney
3 years agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney (oblique) spent most of Thursday's practice on the side, and it's not looking good for him in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Toney also missed Wednesday's session and is looking likely to miss his third straight game in Week 14. The good news for the Giants banged-up pass-catchers is that both Kenny Golladay (ribs) and Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) practiced on Thursday, and there is optimism that they'll both play. Shepard hasn't played since Week 8, so it remains to be seen how many snaps he'll play if he's active this Sunday. Golladay, if active, should be the top receiving target if he can suit up. But with quarterback Mike Glennon (concussion) expected to make a start, all of the Giants pass-catchers should be downgraded.
