Nolan Arenado Back in Action Versus Orioles
Nolan Arenado (ribs) is manning the hot corner and batting sixth for Tuesday's game in Baltimore against the Orioles and right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano. Arenado was dealing with sore ribs after falling into the crowd to make a catch on Sunday and sat out of Monday's series opener at Camden Yards as a precaution. Now that the 34-year-old is back in there, fantasy managers can get him back into their starting lineups. Arenado's decline in offensive production has continued into the 2025 season, as he enters Tuesday's contest sporting a .234/.306/.378 slash line with a below-average .684 OPS, five home runs, 25 RBI, 23 runs scored and one steal in 188 at-bats. In his last nine games since May 16, Arenado has gone 5-for-34 (.147) with a home run, triple, eight RBI, two runs scored and six strikeouts. He has never faced Sugano in his career.
