2 years agoWinnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (undisclosed) has been placed on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Oct. 18. He has missed the last two games after opening the season in hot form by grabbing three points in two outings. According to Winnipeg's associate coach Scott Arnie, Ehler is carrying a nagging injury. The Danish sniper is a key piece for the Jets top six and he's definitely a big miss for the team. Mason Appleton has moved to the top line in his absence and he had two assists in Wednesday's 4-3 win over Colorado before going scoreless Thursday versus Vegas.
