4 years agoThe Washington Nationals are targeting third baseman Kris Bryant and are determined to keep right-handed pitchers Jackson Rutledge and Cade Cavalli, the team's top two prospects, in any trade. The New York Mets, San Francisco Giants and Toronto Blue Jays could all be fits for Bryant as well. Bryant is expected to be tendered a contract by the Cubs despite hitting just .206 with a .644 OPS in 34 games last season. The 2016 National League MVP will become a free agent following the 2021 season. He still owns a .280/.380/.508 career slash line and averaged 28 home runs and 81 RBI from 2015-19. The NL Rookie of the Year in 2015 could be a nice bounce-back target in fantasy in what will be his contract year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
