Nathan Eovaldi Cleared for Wednesday's Start
Nathan Eovaldi (back) has been cleared to take the mound for Wednesday's contest against the Athletics. Eovaldi was scratched ahead of his start on Sunday due to back tightness. He received a few days off rest and is now ready to take the mound again without any restrictions. Eovaldi holds a 1.58 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and a 94/14 K/BB ratio across 16 starts this season. He needs to be rostered and started in all fantasy formats ahead of this outing against the A's. UPDATE: Manager Bruce Bochy said that Eovaldi will either start on Wednesday against the A's or on Friday in the series opener against the Atlanta Braves.
