New York Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson will carry a $16.75 million salary for the 2018 season, and the only question is whether the Jets designate him a pre-June 1 cut or post-June 1 cut. His 2018 salary cap hit will be $20 million. The Jets can clear $11 million in cap space by cutting him before June 1 and $17 million in savings after June 1. Wilkerson was benched for the final two games of the season for his bad attitude and chronic lateness. While Wilkerson's play has tailed off the last two seasons with New York (eight sacks), a change of scenery could do him well. After all, he's only two years removed from a 12-sack season in 2015.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
