Mike McDaniel, Brian Daboll the Top OC Candidates for Eagles
The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel and former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll are at the top of the Philadelphia Eagles' list as they search for a new offensive coordinator. McDaniel and Daboll are most likely prioritizing trying to find another head-coaching job, but the Eagles' offensive-coordinator opening has to be a nice fallback option for both coaches if they don't find a head-coaching gig this offseason. The Eagles moved on from Kevin Patullo after a disastrous first season running the offense. The one thing that we know is that the Eagles are looking for a fresh and new offensive approach under head coach Nick Sirianni after the offense went stale quickly during the 2025 season. Daboll worked with QB Jalen Hurts at Alabama and also shaped QB Josh Allen early in his career in Buffalo. McDaniel is one of the brightest offensive minds in the league and could certainly help the Eagles find their upside again.
