Matthew Stafford, Ty Johnson Miss Practice
5 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (back, hip) and running back Ty Johnson (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. Stafford missed his first game in Week 10 since 2010, and he's not a lock to return this Sunday against the Cowboys. He'd be more of a risky QB1 in a tough matchup at less than 100 percent if he returns, while Jeff Driskel is a bottom-barrel QB2 if he makes a second straight start. Johnson seems unlikely for Week 10 unless he can clear the concussion protocol later this week. J.D. McKissic and Paul Perkins would share the backfield work if Johnson is ruled out. McKissic is the more appealing fantasy streamer/flex, especially in PPR leagues.
