Matthew Stafford Leads Lions To First Win
4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 22-of-31 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions 26-23 win over the Cardinals in Week 3. With their backs against the wall, the Lions offense delivered as Stafford cashed in with two first-half touchdowns. The veteran had to settle for field goals in the second half and completed passes to nine different receivers. Stafford certainly enjoyed having teammate Kenny Golladay back, connecting with him for a 15-yard score. Stafford will try and keep it rolling next week against a talented Saints team.
