Matthew Stafford Has Tests On His Thumb
4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (thumb) had tests on his thumb after the Week 10 win over the Washington Football Team, but a source said that there isn't much concern about Stafford moving forward after X-rays came back negative. Stafford might be limited in practice this week, but the initial belief is that he won't miss the Week 11 game against the Panthers. The 32-year-old had one of his better games of the season on Sunday, going 24-for-33 for 276 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. It was the second third time this year he has thrown three touchdown passes in a game and his first time since Week 7 without a pick. If he's able to play in Week 11 against Carolina, he'll be a midrange QB2 for fantasy managers. Keep an eye on his practice participation this week.
