Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Matthew Knies scored his first career NHL goal in Tuesday's 4-2 loss against the Panthers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference second-round series. Knies put the Maple Leafs on the board in the second period with his fourth point of the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs, as the 20-year-old finished with a nice backhand move on a no-look pass from Auston Matthews to respond immediately following a goal by the Panthers. Knies has been productive in his playoff debut while playing on the top line for the Maple Leafs, as he has totaled a goal and three assists through six games.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
