Matt DiBenedetto Looking For Redemption At Bristol
4 years agoWood Brothers Racing's Matt DiBenedetto will start from the 16th position in Saturday night's Bass Pro Shops/NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. DiBenedetto and the No. 21 team have struggled, going without a top-10 finish in the last six Cup races, and need a win to advance in the playoffs. You couldn't pick a better track for DiBenedetto, as he heads to BMS to try and score his first career Cup win. Last August, in a dramatic finish, DiBenedetto led 93 laps in the No. 95 Toyota, before being passed by Denny Hamlin with a dozen laps to go, finishing second. DiBenedetto also put his name on the map by taking a super-underfunded car to a top-10 finish in 2016. DiBenedetto's salary is just below average in DFS, and he has a lot of upside in position differential. Despite the fact he has been struggling, look for DiBenedetto to turn in a great performance, as he fights for his playoff life.
