5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida (ankle) is taking part in practice on Wednesday. Also practicing are cornerback Richard Sherman (knee), defensive end Dee Ford (hamstring) and left tackle Joe Staley (finger). Breida was close to returning last week but was ultimately held out. The 24-year-old has a much better chance of suiting up in Week 14 against the Saints, but his return will cause even more chaos to a backfield that saw Raheem Mostert get most of the touches over Tevin Coleman last week. The matchup against New Orleans is also a bad one, so we'd suggest fading this entire backfield if Breida returns to make this situation even more head-scratching.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
