Marshon Lattimore Will Be A Game-Time Decision
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (hand) will be a game-time decision in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers after he had surgery on his hand this week. Lattimore injured his thumb in the Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers and is considered week-to-week. The team's top cornerback also agreed to a contract extension last week that includes $68.3 million guaranteed. If Lattimore does play, he'll likely be a full go. If he's inactive, the Saints will be in good shape, as Bradley Roby will make his team debut this weekend after serving the final game of his suspension in Week 1. Third-rounder Paulson Adebo also played well against Green Bay, and the Saints would feel comfortable with a corner combination of Roby and Adebo if Lattimore doesn't get cleared. The Saints defense turned heads by shutting down the Packers, and they are firmly on the streaming radar in Week 2 against Carolina.
