Marlins Acquire Adam Cimber, DFA Jose Urena
Jose Urena for assignment. Urena was the team's Opening Day starter in 2018 and 2019 and spent six seasons with the club, but he went 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA in five starts last season. He's projected to earn around $4 million in 2021. Cimber was 0-1 with a 3.97 ERA in 14 outings for Cleveland in 2020 after he was acquired from the Padres in 2018 in the deal involving All-Star closer Brad Hand. Cimber was 6-7 with a 4.30 ERA in 110 appearances over 2 1/2 seasons with the Tribe.
