Mark Andrews Avoids A Major Injury
2 years agoIt appears as though Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (ankle, shoulder) has avoided a major injury, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Andrews is dealing with both ankle and shoulder injuries and injured his shoulder last Thursday night in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and never returned to the game. The 27-year-old finished with just three catches for 33 yards last week and had a donut for his fantasy managers the week prior, so they are hoping he'll be healthier for the Week 9 game against the New Orleans Saints next Monday night. With receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) out multiple weeks as well, rookie tight end Isaiah Likely will be a popular waiver-wire pickup this week after scoring his first career touchdown in Week 8.
