Luke Jackson 2020 Outlook: Set For Another Underrated Season
5 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher Luke Jackson drew the ire of Braves fans last season because of some poorly-timed rough outings. Jackson blew seven saves, many in grand fashion, but he still had a very strong season overall. Now likely to pitch in middle relief, Jackson could still be worth fantasy attention thanks in part to his strikeout upside. Last season, he recorded a strong 33.7 K% to go with a solid 8.3 BB%. A 2.52 xFIP and 2.80 SIERA show a lot to look forward to from Jackson's right arm. He can likely be had as the last pick of the draft in most leagues and should provide plenty of strikeouts along with a strong ERA and WHIP.
