Luis Valbuena Clubs Two Home Runs
7 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Luis Valbuena had his best game of the season, going 3-for-5 with two solo home runs and a two-run single. Valbuena was starting at first base to allow Albert Pujols to serve as the designated hitter while Shohei Ohtani rested before drawing a start on the mound on Wednesday. Valbuena is likely going to see two to three starts per week going forward, but despite the strong game on Tuesday, he is nothing more than a DFS play when he starts against right-handers going forward.
