2 years agoVegas Golden Knights goaltender Logan Thompson will be in goal for Tuesday's season opener against Los Angeles. The 24-year-old rookie will make his second career appearance against the Kings after coasting to a 5-1 victory against them in March with a 38-save effort. Thompson had a very strong finish to last year and ended the campaign boasting a 10-5-3 record with a 2.68 goals-against average, a .914 save percentage and one shutout. He's set to carry a big workload in 2022-23, as Robin Lehner (hip) will miss the whole campaign and Laurent Brossoit (hip) is also unavailable. Thompson should be a very good option between the pipes for fantasy managers throughout the season, with the Vegas team looking strong and well-equipped to battle for the top spot in the Pacific Division.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
