7 months agoChicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen logged 18 points and six rebounds during Friday’s defeat to the Detroit Pistons. For Markkanen, the six rebounds are his fewest in an outing since Jan. 23, a stretch that included the past 18 games. While his 7-for-16 shooting effort was improved from a field-goal percentage standpoint, he has now been held below 20 points for the fourth consecutive game, having shot 35 percent overall in that span. Markkanen has been a breakout fantasy star down the stretch, averaging 19.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game this season, while remaining a double-double threat on a nightly basis, but DFS owners may be best served waiting for his price tag to readjust before heavily deploying him in lineups.--Jesse Borek - RotoBaller
