The New England Patriots chose wide receiver Kyle Williams in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He'll join a team that needs help at wide receiver. New England did sign WR Stefon Diggs to a three-year, $69 million contract in the offseason. He's 31 years old, and he tore his ACL around midseason last year. Diggs has been cleared to start the season and will be one of New England's top targets. Williams, meanwhile, was one of the most underrated WRs in all of the 2025 draft cycle. His release package is excellent, and yet the offense Williams was in didn't ask him to run a lot of polished NFL receiver routes. His skills after the catch and with the ball in his hands are one culprit for that, yet they'll be a boon in the NFL as well.
