Kyle Seager Struggling At Safeco Field This Season
6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager may be hitting only .233 this season but has produced decent power numbers with 16 home runs, 24 doubles and 57 runs batted in. But Seager has really struggled at home this season, slashing only .228/.285/.364 with four home runs through 50 home games. Contrast that to a .475 slugging percentage on the road and Seager, to this point, has failed to take capitilize on the team's 'home field advantage'. Since 2014, Seager has posted a higher slugging percentage on the road than at home in each season. The veteran third baseman's home/road splits over the span of his career will hurt his value in fantasy whenever Seager plays at Safeco Field.
