Kyle Pitts Signs Rookie Deal
3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons signed first-round tight end Kyle Pitts to a four-year rookie deal worth a fully guaranteed $32.9 million. The deal also comes with a fifth-year option. Pitts was the No. 4 overall pick in this year's NFL draft and was reportedly being force-fed targets during the team's minicamp. He's expected to be a big part of Atlanta's offense right away after they traded away All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones. As a result, Pitts is already being considered a top-five fantasy tight end. The targets should be there, making Pitts a pretty safe TE1, but it remains to be seen if he'll struggle with the speed of the NFL game initially. Making Pitts a top-five fantasy tight end out of the gates will make him a bust candidate.
