Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai out-snapped D'Andre Swift 34 to 26 in Week 12's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Monangai finished with 12 carries for 48 yards and a touchdown in the game, while Swift had eight carries for 15 yards with one reception (one target) for 14 yards. That decision was impacted by Swift losing a fumble, but it could lead to more opportunities for Monangai in future weeks. It was the first game all season where the rookie seventh-rounder played more snaps than Swift, with both players active. Monangai seemingly has the upper hand in goal-line work as well, recording a team-high five carries inside the 10-yard line over the past three weeks and finding the end zone in three straight games.
