Chicago Cubs general manager Jed Hoyer said that starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder), who was placed on the 10-day injured list over the weekend, is dealing with an "impingement." It's unclear how long he'll be out and there's a chance the team holds him back until the All-Star break. The right-hander allowed five runs and six hits in 4 1/3 innings against the Dodgers in his last start on Friday and is 7-5 on the season with a 3.36 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 75 strikeouts in 88 1/3 innings over 14 starts. Hendricks isn't the sexiest fantasy starter but he belongs on rosters in all leagues. Hopefully this injury won't set him back in the second half of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
