Dropping two of his last three fights to move to 1-2 inside the UFC, Kyle Daukaus (10-2) suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Phil Hawes in Saturday night's main-card opener. Though he had some moments where he had Hawes on the ropes, landing zero of his seven takedown attempts erased any real chance of him winning this contest. Statistically, Daukaus landed 28 significant strikes (52 total strikes) and was taken down twice on four of Hawes' attempts. The 28-year-old has submissions in eight of his 10 wins, though, which always makes him a threat on the mat to end the contest at any moment.--Matt Bricker
