Kyle Busch won the SRX race on Thursday night then followed that up with a strong qualifying effort on Saturday. The Richard Childress Racing driver drove around the 0.75-mile track in 23.76 seconds. That was a mere 0.011 seconds shy of Tyler Reddick. Busch fell back in his first effort at Richmond in 2023 (14th). The No. 8 Chevy did qualify second for the Spring race as well. Since back-to-back wins in 2018, Busch had finished inside the top ten seven straight times. The Chevy driver will hope to avoid the struggles that have plagued him on short tracks this season. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
