Kyle Busch Hoping For Hometown Win At Las Vegas
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Kyle Busch will start from the second position in Sunday night's South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Last week, Busch had his best race of the 2020 Cup season, leading 159 laps and finishing second at Bristol. Still looking for his first win of the season, Busch will head to his hometown track to try to get back to victory lane. Busch has a win, back in 2009, along with seven top-five finishes in 18 starts at LVMS. Busch's salary is very high in DFS, and starting from the front row leaves little room for error. The No. 18 car hasn't had the speed in 2020, and there are better high-end drivers to choose, so selecting Busch does not appear to be the best move for this race.
