Khalil Mack To Have Season-Ending Foot Surgery
3 years agoThe Chicago Bears will place All-Pro pass-rusher Khalil Mack (foot) on Injured Reserve so that he can have season-ending foot surgery, according to sources. Mack has missed the last two games while tending to the foot injury, but he'll now miss the rest of the 2021 season. This is a huge loss that can't be overstated for a Bears defense that enters Week 11 ninth in the league with 25 total sacks through 10 weeks. Mack accounted for six of those sacks, second to only Robert Quinn on the team. The 30-year-old will finish his 2021 campaign with 19 tackles (15 solo), six tackles for loss, seven QB hits and one fumble recovery in seven games played. Facing a potent Baltimore Ravens offense looking to get back on track, the Bears defense/special teams should be avoided this week in fantasy.
