Kerryon Johnson, D'Andre Swift Will Share The Load

Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson is expected to share the backfield load with rookie D'Andre Swift in 2020. Johnson has a nice all-around game and has 621 snaps in the last two years, but he's also been a bit injury-prone. Swift is more explosive as a runner and could be more polished in the passing game as well, so he's a real threat to Johnson's touches and fantasy ceiling. The Lions didn't draft Swift 35th overall in the second round for him to sit in his rookie season. Pairing these two backs in fantasy drafts would be ideal, as there's a chance that Swift takes over the lead role by season's end.
