4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver K.J. Hamler will be a nice weapon out of the slot for the Broncos in the future, but he's just not seeing enough consistent targets in his rookie season to be a realistic receiver to roster in single-year formats. Hamler had 26 targets in a three-game span from Weeks 9-11, but he wasn't targeted at all in Denver's Week 12 disaster against the Saints when the entire team's quarterback room was inactive due to COVID-19. He should bounce back this Sunday night against the Chiefs, but fantasy managers shouldn't be looking at him as a starting option against a KC defense that has allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing pass-catchers this year. Hamler had only two catches on three targets for a paltry 24 yards in the team's first meeting with their division rivals back in Week 7.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
