Justin Jefferson 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Maintaining Consistency In Year Four
2 years agoThe reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has all the leverage during his current holdout. It's difficult to see where Minnesota's offense will go without him. Jefferson has been among the top five wideouts in receiving yards in his first three seasons. He has improved his numbers every year until he led the league in receptions (128) and receiving yards (1,809) last year. Jefferson compiled those numbers even if opponents knew that the ball would be coming to him. His size, speed, and agility make him a nightmare for defensive backs. Therefore, there's no reason to see Jefferson having a down season in 2023. He might even challenge Calvin Johnson's single-season record. The 23-year-old has established himself as a supreme competitor who will fight for every catch. Jordan Addison's addition gives the Vikings another threat, leaving Jefferson with more one-on-one matchups and scoring opportunities. The 2020 first-round pick racked up eight touchdowns in 2022. Fantasy managers should consider Jefferson with a top-3 pick, especially in PPR formats.
