Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Justin Faulk scored the game-winning goal on a power play in Thursday's 3-1 win over New Jersey, which sent the team to the playoffs for the first time since 2009. Warren Foegele and Nino Niederreiter also found the net, while Petr Mrazek recorded his 11th win his last 13 starts with a 36-save performance. Faulk, who added four shots, three blocks and one hit to his line, is the team's longest-serving player and he's never had a sniff of the playoffs before, so it was a very special moment. It's his 10th goal of the season, which takes him up to 34 points for the year.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
