JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Conner, Vance McDonald Sitting
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (toe), running back James Conner (ankle) and tight end Vance McDonald (shoulder) all missed practice on Wednesday. It's still early in the week, so we can't rule any of them out, but we'll have to keep a close eye on their practice status the rest of the week. In an offense led by backup quarterback Mason Rudolph, Smith-Schuster has become more of a WR2. He's also likely to be shadowed by Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey this week, making him a bust candidate. Conner will be a low-end RB1 if he faces Baltimore, but Jaylen Samuels is in line for RB3/flex status in PPR leagues if Pittsburgh continues to use him heavily in the passing game. McDonald still has a chance to return after sitting out in Week 4, but he's still up in the air as a borderline TE1/2. If he can't go, Nick Vannett will fill in once again. Vannett is a low-upside, low-end TE2 if McDonald is inactive.
