Josiah Deguara In The Concussion Protocol
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Josiah Deguara (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol ahead of the Monday night game against the Detroit Lions, and he missed practice on Thursday and Friday. Deguara suffered a head injury in the season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers and seems unlikely to play this Monday night. The 24-year-old tight end ended up playing only 8.8 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 1, and he wasn't targeted in the passing attack. Robert Tonyan will remain Green Bay's primary pass-catching tight end, and Marcedes Lewis and Dominique Dafney could see more snaps if Deguara is unable to pass through the league's concussion protocol in order to play against Green Bay.
