Josh Jackson 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoPhoenix Suns forward Josh Jackson flashed some signs of brilliance post-All-Star break as a rookie for his club in the 2017-18 season. In the 20 games after the break Jackson put together a solid 18.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals, yet struggled heavily from the floor with shooting splits of .438/.250/.682 during that span. Then the Suns went out and signed Trevor Ariza and traded for Ryan Anderson and with TJ Warren and Dragan Bender already in the line-up, you wonder what the Suns’ plan is with the rookie going forward as he will sharing his minutes with this group of forwards. Jackson is still a late-round pick in all formats, but owners will need to take a wait-and-see approach to see how the second year player develops as the season progresses.
