7 months agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid will remain out for at least his squad’s next two contests, which come as a back-to-back Tuesday and Wednesday against the Orlando Magic and Chicago Bulls, respectively. Embiid has not suited up over the past five games due to knee soreness, leaving the group of Jonah Bolden, Boban Marjanovic and Amir Johnson to log minutes at the center spot in his place. Embiid’s injury comes at a less than opportune time for season-long fantasy owners in the midst of playoff races, with his next chance to return to action coming Friday versus the Houston Rockets, although how quickly he’ll log his usual minutes total remains to be seen.--Jesse Borek - RotoBaller
