7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was dominant against the Pelicans on Friday, seemingly keeping Anthony Davis in check through four quarters. Embiid picked up a beastly double-double on Friday, scoring 24 points on an efficient 11-for-18 shooting, including two threes, while pulling down a game-high 16 rebounds in the blowout victory. He was productive on the other end of the court as well, coming away with two steals and one block in his 23 minutes, but did commit three turnovers to no one's surprise. Embiid has forced his name into the discussion for the leagues best big man, and on any given night he can even give the leagues best player a run for their money. Owners in dynasty leagues are laughing.--Matthew Thomas
