6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi and outfielder Kevin Kiermaier are not in the starting lineup on Friday against Red Sox left-handed starter Eduardo Rodriguez. Yandy Diaz is at first base and is batting leadoff, while Guillermo Heredia is in center field and is hitting sixth. Austin Meadows is serving as the designated hitter and drops to the third spot in the lineup. Diaz won't get as many chances to drive in runs atop the order, but he does have four home runs, 13 runs and eight RBI on the season and will remain an intriguing DFS option, as is Meadows. Heredia has four hits in his 13 at-bats (.308) but has limited upside with the bat and should be faded on Friday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
