Jets Defense Could Get Jamal Adams Back
5 years agoNew York Jets safety Jamal Adams (foot) returned to practice on Wednesday and said the chances of him playing in Week 16 against the Steelers are "very high." The 24-year-old has been out since Dec. 1. He's one of the key pieces of the entire Jets Defense, so his return would be excellent news as Gang Green looks to slow down a Pittsburgh offense run by quarterback Devlin Hodges. The Jets are still missing several other important pieces of their defense due to injury, though, so New York's defense shouldn't be trusted during fantasy championship week. Adams has 64 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception this year, and he'll be back in the IDP mix at safety if he returns to the lineup.
