Jesus Luzardo Playing Catch From 90 Feet

Oakland Athletics starting pitching prospect Jesus Luzardo (shoulder) has been playing catch from around 90 feet of late and is working to get back on a mound. Luzardo suffered a Grade 2 lat strain in the minors on July 2 and might not return now until the final month of the season. It's definitely a shame for those that have been stashing him in dynasty and redraft leagues, as he's Oakland's top prospect and the No. 2 ranked left-handed prospect in all of baseball. Luzardo was set to open the year in the team's rotation before he injured himself, but his long-term future is very bright. You probably don't need to keep stashing him in shallow mixed leagues anymore, but keep him around in keeper leagues, as he should be in Oakland's rotation right off the bat in 2020.
