Buffalo Sabres left wing Jeff Skinner finally opened his goals account for the season in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders, producing the team's first goal of the game. Colin Miller joined him on the scoresheet. Skinner had a wonderful debut year in Buffalo during the 2018-19 season with 40 goals, but he went through a tough time last campaign, and 2020-21 has been a complete nightmare for him. The 28-year-old winger was on just one point through 19 games ahead of Sunday's action with a minus-five rating and 39 shots. Skinner hasn't meshed well with any of his teammates and has been a healthy scratch at times, so he hasn't had any value in fantasy hockey this season and it doesn't look like the situation will change if he stays in Buffalo.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
