Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry picked up two assists with a minus-one rating and two hits over 25:13 of ice time in Saturday's 4-3 shootout victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Petry and Mike Reilly continue to gobble up a lion's share of the rearguard minutes for the Canadiens. They might not be the most attractive top defensive pairing in the NHL, but they're doing a pretty good job so far. The 30-year-old Petry has two multi-point games over his past three outings, totaling four assists in four games, all against Pittsburgh in two games.
