Jeff Driskel Moving To Tight End
3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Jeff Driskel is making the transition to tight end, and tight ends coach Andy Bischoff called him "a rare athlete." The 28-year-old was drafted in the sixth round in 2016 by the San Francisco 49ers, and he's spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos in three seasons in the NFL. Driskel has attempted 345 passes and thrown for 2,120 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 15 career games (nine starts), with his most recent action coming last year in three games with Denver. The Texans are desperate for production at the tight end spot between Jordan Akins and Pharaoh Brown, but we doubt Driskel will factor into the picture anytime soon on game days.
