Los Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter registered a power-play assist as his team took down the Boston Bruins 4-3 in overtime on Thursday. With the first-period helper, Carter extended his point streak to four games (two goals, two assists). It was only a matter of time until Carter started seeing results for his consistent ability to generate pucks on net (118 shots) and his shooting percentage (8.5%) still has room to continue to positively regress to his career number (11.3%). While age has seemingly caught up to the 34-year-old and his 60-point days seem to have past him by, the Ontario-born forward can still provide value with his strong shot and hit rates. Keep an eye on Carter as a potential pick-up for the short-term.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
