Jaxon Smith-Njigba Practices Again Monday
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (wrist) was present for another practice on Monday. Smith-Njigba had surgery on Aug. 24 to fix a small fracture in his left wrist, but he's been able to practice of late and should be available for the team's Week 1 season opener against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend. The first-rounder will probably be limited on the team's official injury report on Wednesday, but as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks, he should be able to suit up on Sunday. How big of a role he has in his first NFL game remains uncertain, though, which will make him a pretty risky starting fantasy option to kick off the year while fighting for targets with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
