Jason Peters Expected To Play Against Bengals
3 years agoChicago Bears left tackle Jason Peters (quadriceps), who is listed as questionable with a quadriceps injury that limited him in practice this week, is expected to play in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a source. Peters suffered the injury in the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but it looks like he'll be back in there on Sunday to protect veteran quarterback Andy Dalton's blind side. Fantasy managers shouldn't be in a rush to throw Dalton in their starting lineups in superflex leagues, but he certainly has a much better matchup against Cincy, his old team, than he did in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams. The Bengals D allowed 351 passing yards and two touchdowns to Vikings QB Kirk Cousins in the season opener. Dalton is a low-end QB2 this weekend.
